Simple Ledger Protocol

slp

1. concept

The Simple Ledger Protocol (SLP) is a tokenization protocol built on the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network.

SLP allows anyone to easily create their own tokens for whatever purpose they see fit, created under a set of defined rules. Having a simple, fast, and cheap to use token system will enable many use cases. Especially around ticketing, ownership, and reward/loyalty point systems.

SLP isn't as powerful as other token systems - such as Ethereum (ETH) tokens -, but the power those provides is more than is often required, and the extra power comes with additional complexity and cost beyond what most tokens require.
