Gwei
An ETH denomination equal to one billion wei, commonly used to quote gas fee rates on Ethereum-like chains.
Gwei makes very small ETH-denominated gas prices easier to read. One ETH equals 1,000,000,000 gwei, and one gwei equals 1,000,000,000 wei.
Wallets quote base fees, priority fees, and maximum fees in gwei because gas calculations would be unwieldy in wei. The final transaction fee is still paid in the chain's native token.
