Quote Currency

The currency in which an asset’s price is denominated in a trading pair.

In a pair like BCH/USD, BCH is the base currency and USD is the quote currency. Prices and PnL are typically displayed in the quote currency.

"A BCH price of 240.50 means each BCH costs 240.50 units of the quote currency (USD)."
