JoinMarket
privacy · wallet
A non-custodial CoinJoin system for Bitcoin where makers and takers collaborate to improve transaction privacy.
- Also known as
- coinjoin market, maker-taker coinjoin
JoinMarket is a Bitcoin privacy tool that coordinates CoinJoin transactions without taking custody of funds. Makers offer liquidity for mixing, while takers pay fees to initiate rounds.
JoinMarket differs from custodial mixers because participants sign their own transactions and do not hand coins to an operator. Privacy still depends on liquidity, wallet behavior, amount selection, and post-mix spending habits.
